Glass Reinforced Plastic is a polyester resin laminate reinforced with glass fibre. It is light, can be moulded to complex shapes and suits cladding, domes, canopies and project-specific components. We produce GRP against approved shop drawings and install it on site.

Laminate build-up
A gelcoat face coat followed by layers of chopped strand mat or woven roving in polyester resin. Skin thickness is set by panel size and specification; our standard cladding skin is 3–4 mm.
Faces and fixings
Front face with mould finish, rear face roller-finished. GI embeds and steel support frames are detailed on the shop drawings.
Handling
Large units are stiffened for demoulding and transport, carried on supporting frames with cushioning, and lifted with belts on cast-in sockets where required.
After installation
Units are checked for transit or installation marks, repaired and given final cosmetic finishing before handover.

GRP lining works
Seamless fibreglass lining laminated on site onto concrete and blockwork for water tanks, pools, water features, planters, roofs and wet areas: surface preparation, primer, glass fibre mat in resin and a topcoat finish.
